THE USE OF CARBON

To achieve its desired level of performance, CORIMA has chosen to manufacture its products from pre-impregnated carbon sheets and fibre.
The sheet and fibre composition that forms the structure of a wheel or frame is built up manually with as much care as if we were making the solar panel frames for a satellite, for example.

Each pre-impregnated part has to be put in position, ensuring that the fibres are correctly orientated in a vital, determined order and with a strict eye on the quality procedure.

Once these operations have been carried out by qualified, skilled, attentive operatives, the mould is closed and heated, leading to the polymerisation of the epoxy resin, which fixes the position of all the carbon fibres and contributes to the structure and appearance of the finished product.

Our products are not varnished after they have come out of the mould as we do not want to damage their weight / performance ratio.

THE RELATIONSHIP WITH THE CYCLING PROS AND OUR CUSTOMERS

Since 1988 when we brought out our first disc wheel, CORIMA has always worked with cycling pros on both the track and road racing circuits. Our products have been involved in prestigious records and victories across the world.

CORIMA’s goal is to offer to our customers exactly the same materials as those used by the professional cyclists, and our greatest success is to hear from all our customers their satisfaction from the performance achieved from our frames or wheels.

CORIMA provides after-sales service for its products and also repairs other brands’ composite products.
